Cours de phonétique

Ce cours présente quelques notions fondamentales sur la production articulatoire des sons du langage et les divisions principales dans lesquelles le système de l'Alphabet Phonétique International (A.P.I.) classe ceux-ci. Toutes les illustrations de cette première partie sont tirées de: Initiation à la phonétique, de J.M.C. Thomas, L. Bouquiaux, et F. Cloarec-Heiss, Paris, PUF, 1976.

Dans un deuxième temps, le cours expose les bases de la phonétique acoustique.

Une fois l'alphabet maîtrisé, vous souhaiterez probablement l'utiliser dans vos travaux : le Summer Institute of Linguistics propose toute une batterie de polices phonétiques, pour le Macintosh comme pour Windows.
